Comments
One week after pollination a heavy hailstorm destroyed a large fraction of the plant (most of the leaves had to be removed because of shot holes in the stalk, and most of the vine tips were smashed by hail). Only few tertiaries were left, it took about 3 weeks for a decent amount of tertiary growth to make the plant look green again. In spite of this damage the pumpkin kept growing.
